The administration of US President Donald Trump is working on a secret plan to end the war in Ukraine in consultation with Russia.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the Axios<\/em><\/a><\/span>, American and Russian officials shared details of this sensitive ongoing process. According to the information provided by the officials, the draft plan consists of 28 articles in total.<\/p>\n

The document in question is divided into four main categories: achieving peace in Ukraine, security guarantees, the security architecture in Europe, and the future relations of the US with Russia and Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Steve Witkoff and Kirill Dmitriev are managing the process<\/strong><\/p>\n

Trump\u2019s special representative, Steve Witkoff, is managing the preparation process for the document on the American side.<\/p>\n

Witkoff is in direct contact regarding this critical file with Kirill Dmitriev, the Russian President\u2019s Special Representative for International Investment and Economic Cooperation.<\/p>\n

In a statement to Axios<\/em>, Kirill Dmitriev confirmed the work on the peace plan and assessed the initiative\u2019s chances of success as high.<\/p>\n

The Russian official stated, \u201cWe feel that Russia\u2019s position is truly being heard.\u201d<\/p>\n

The goal is \u201clasting security across Europe\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dmitriev emphasized that the fundamental idea behind the ongoing work is \u201cto ensure lasting security not only in Ukraine but across Europe.\u201d<\/p>\n

The goal is to have the peace plan ready by the next meeting between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.<\/p>\n

The Russian official also added that Washington will explain the \u201cadvantages\u201d of the new approach to Ukrainians and Europeans by that date.<\/p>\n

A source from the Trump administration confirmed that the US has informed Ukraine and European representatives about the plan.<\/p>\n

However, it remains unclear how the document will resolve issues regarding Ukrainian territories currently under Russian control.<\/p>\n

Critical summit cancelled in Ankara<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to information obtained by Axios<\/em>, Steve Witkoff discussed the new plan earlier this week with Rustem Umerov, the Head of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Witkoff was also expected to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in T\u00fcrkiye on November 19 to discuss the document.<\/p>\n

However, Trump\u2019s special representative cancelled this visit at the last moment.<\/p>\n

Volodymyr Zelenskyy had previously announced that he would travel to T\u00fcrkiye to prepare for the \u201crevitalization\u201d of peace talks.<\/p>\n

Rustem Umerov explained that the parties had agreed on \u201cactivating the Istanbul agreements\u201d regarding prisoner exchanges under the mediation of T\u00fcrkiye and the United Arab Emirates.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the Kremlin stated that Moscow representatives would not participate in the meetings scheduled to be held in T\u00fcrkiye on November 19.<\/p>\n

The Russian side also noted that they had not received any notification from Kyiv indicating a readiness to restart the peace dialogue.<\/p>\n
