On Sunday 24 March, Moscow’s Basmanny court ordered the arrest of four suspects in the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert hall.
The detainees were named as Dalercon Mirzoyev, Saidakram Murodali Rachabalizoda, Fariduni Shamsidin and Muhammadzobir Fayzov.
“The Basmanniy District Court of Moscow complied with the request of the investigative authorities and chose a preventive measure in the form of arrest against Mirzoyev D.B. for 1 month and 28 days, i.e. until 22 May 2024,” the court said in a statement.
The same measure was chosen for Murodali, Faizov and Fariduni. All four were charged under the Terrorism Act.
Mirzoyev, 33, pleaded guilty to all charges. The court heard that he was a citizen of the Republic of Tajikistan, married with one child. He had no criminal record and was on the territory of the Russian Federation with an expired residence permit.
Shamsidin Fariduni was a worker in a parquet factory, 26 years old. He has an 8-month-old child.
Rachabalizoda Murodali, a 30-year-old unemployed Tajik national, was married with one child and had not completed his secondary education. Murodali also fully admitted his guilt.
20-year-old Fayzov worked in a hairdressing salon, had a secondary education, no children and no wife.
It was previously reported that two defendants in the Crocus terrorist attack case were facing life imprisonment.
