Fatal stabbing in Haifa leaves one dead, four injured

In a stabbing attack at the Hamifratz Central Bus Terminal in Haifa, Israel, one person was killed and four others were injured, three of them seriously. The attacker was identified as a Druze citizen of Israel who also holds German citizenship.
The attack notably occurred as Israel was taking steps to deepen its occupation in Syria, using the protection of the Druze population there as a pretext.
In the stabbing attack at a bus stop near a shopping center in Haifa, Israel, one person died and four others were injured. The injured were taken to Rambam Hospital.
According to the Israeli state television channel Kan, a security guard neutralized the attacker at the scene.
Israeli police and internal security service Shin Bet teams arrived at the area and continued their efforts to determine if there were any other suspects involved in the attack.
The attacker was identified as a Druze citizen of Israel who also holds German citizenship.
According to Israeli media, the attacker had lived abroad for some time before returning to Israel about a month ago. The attacker, reported to be around 20 years old, arrived at the terminal on a bus from Shfaram.
He was shot and killed by security forces at the scene.
